Heavy-duty casters are used to move heavy equipment. Therefore, the wheels of heavy-duty casters generally use hard-tread single wheels. Such as polyurethane wheels, PVC wheels, rubber wheels, nylon wheels, cast iron wheels, forged steel wheels, phenolic resin wheels and nylon + glass fiber wheels are ideal choices. Among them, polyurethane caster wheels are especially suitable for wheels matched with extra-heavy casters.
Brackets for heavy casters
The bracket usually adopts metal materials as the main body, including ordinary steel plate stamping forming, cast steel forming, die forging steel forming, etc., usually flat-plate assembly is the mainstay. The steel plate thickness of heavy casters generally adopts steel plates of 5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 16mm and more than 20mm.
Rotating plate design of heavy-duty universal wheel
The universal wheels of heavy-duty casters usually adopt double-layer steel ball racetracks, which are stamped and formed by heat treatment. For the rotating plate of the extra-heavy universal wheel, a flat ball shaft or flat needle roller bearing with greater force is generally used to effectively improve the load capacity of the heavy-duty caster. For the special impact-resistant heavy-duty universal wheel, the rotating plate is made of die-forged steel, which is finished and formed, which effectively avoids the welding of the connecting plate bolts and improves the impact resistance of the caster with greater strength.
